Great thanks from all involved in Heart of Australia to the energetic members of the Lions Club of Brisbane MacGregor – for their recent Christmas gift to our program.

Our founder and CEO Dr Gomes, was invited to speak to the Club last year to talk about the Heart of Australia program.

Club members, impressed with the positive local impact of the program on bush communities, committed to selling Christmas cakes to fundraise for our service.

And … the members worked at it so hard that when Dr Gomes accepted an invitation to the Club’s recent Centenary Meeting, he was presented with a Heart of Australia support cheque for $10,000!
