August was busy for our team of guest speakers leading GP education dinners in three towns this month.  Dr Rolf Gomes led a discussion on Cardiac Risks in St George with a great turnout from the St George Medical Centre and the St George Family Practice.  Dr Robert Perel followed up with his session in Roma to discuss Transient loss of consciousness.  Diagnosis, Driving Implications and Case Presentations. Thanks also to the doctors from the Maranoa Medical Centre for a wonderful turnout.  

Finally, Dr Karam Kostner gave an Update on Lipid Management to GPs in Charters Towers and we appreciate the continued support of Gold City Medical Centre.
