Two trucks, one our roving medical clinic, the other a portable branch rolled into Charters Towers this week as Heart of Australia and RACQ came to town.

Heart of Australia’s regular clinic visit for cardiology and endocrinology was linked up with the RACQ mobile member centre to answer membership and insurance enquiries and conduct free vehicle health checks.

RACQ head of Community and Education, David Contarini, said the link-up was the first time since the partnership began that the two groups “have been able to combine our services to add to convenience for Charters Towers locals”.
