There’s one heck of a learning curve ahead in the next few weeks for our latest overseas “work experience” candidate, British medico Bradley Pletts.

In his second of three years of work-study for his postgraduate Masters Degree in cardiac healthcare science through Britain’s Newcastle University, Bradley has chosen Heart of Australia for his elective practical study placement.

Why? In Bradley’s words: Heart of Australia is a form of primary healthcare that I am unlikely to experience for the rest of my career.

“The idea of a travelling cardiology service is completely astonishing.”

With that cardiac healthcare science degree under his belt, Bradley will be heading back to his home base, one of the largest cardiology specialist centres in southern England in Southampton.

We wish him well – on the roads of rural Queensland with us and when he gets back home.
