The Heart of Australia Kenworth-hauled Big Heart Truck has responded to growing demand with its first visit to Longreach, in the heart of Queensland’s Central West a few days ago.

Program General Manager, Doug Brimblecombe, joined the clinic-on-wheels crew for the visit and described it as a “great first” that was well-received by townspeople.

“It was a particularly fortunate visit for a couple of patients seen on the day, one from as far away as Alpha, whose local doctors wanted them seen urgently by the Heart of Australia onboard medical specialist,” Doug said.
